About this Position

TITLE: Digital Sales Representative - Dutch Speaking

LOCATION: Barcelona, Spain


Reporting to our Sr Manager, Inside Sales, Riverbed are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and results driven Inside Sales professional to achieve a territory quota for the assigned region. You will be part of a fast-growing team, based in Barcelona. You must be fluent in Dutch.


What you will be doing

  • Prospect, qualify, manage and close new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with end customers and channel partners
  • Work closely with channel partners to find opportunities
  • Outbound and inbound account management
  • Manage all opportunities within SalesForce CRM document the details of the sales cycle
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects of the organization
  • Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads to generate revenue
  • Participate fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training and professional development classes
  • Effectively articulate the solution value to both technical and non-technical buyers
  • Meet outbound prospecting requirements to generate pipeline
  • Frequently work in a team environment with Channel, Alliances, Technical Sales, Sales Support, Renewals Teams and other internal departments.
  • Sell or introduce represented products to established clients, in close conjunction with an outside sales representative
  • Prepare and present quarterly Territory/Business plans and reviews.
  • Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly forecast of deals.
  • Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within the targeted account either with or on the behalf of channel partners.
  • Build trust with customers through understanding their needs, setting the correct expectations, and creating the best experience possible.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

What will help your application:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in Sales or Sales Support role within Telecommunications, Networking or Software/Hardware industry
  • Inside sales, sales, account management experience –experience in closing deals is required
  • Application Management or related IT specific software/hardware sales experience is a plus
  • Experience with prospecting and growing an ecosystem
  • Experience working with Channel Partners
  • Experience using SalesForce.com or similar tool required
  • Ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful relationships over the phone
  • Strong presentation and communications skills via phone/virtually and in person.
  • Strong work ethic: Team oriented, high energy, results driven and sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrate passion for our company, solutions, customers, and achieving goals.
  • High detail orientation with excellent time management skills
